Action Alert!
House Bill 5019 is expected to go to the House floor for a vote on Monday, July 29!
Please call your state rep and state senator today and
urge them to support House Bill 5019, which will
allow towns and cities the right to decide for
themselves whether to ban polluting jet skis from their
waterways. Currently, the director of environmental
police can prevent Massachusetts towns from making this
decision for themselves. (He just stopped the town of
Harvard from banning jet skis despite the fact that all
but 3 residents there voted in favor of the ban and they
demonstrated significant evidence of the safety and
pollution problems stemming from these crafts.)
