Rally
citizen participation by publicizing these walks and related events
(newletters, posters, flyers, etc): Also consider outreach to community
groups, public officials, and other media outlets.
- Involve
a local school, classroom or youth organization.
- Ensure
that data (optional – only if collected) is entered into the state
Biodiversity Database.
- Consider
enhancing your event by hosting a kick-off and/or wrap-up gathering
to share experiences and information on the species that were sighted.
