Coastal Restoration in the Face of Climate Change

The Annual Chapter Conference and Field Trip of the New England Chapter of the Society of Wetland Scientists brings together practitioners, scientists and educators working in all areas of Wetlands in ME, NH, VT, MA, CT and RI. This meeting provides an opportunity to present and share current research in wetland restoration, management and mitigation as well as sharing practical, on the ground successes and failures in wetlands work.

In 2018, the meeting will take place around Providence RI with a full day of field trips to Sachuset Point NWR and John H. Caffee NWR to examine salt marsh restoration and thin layer deposition. This field trip day will be followed by a full day of talks and networking focused on coastal wetlands and restoration and will be hosted at Save the Bay in Providence, RI.

Registration will be opening soon!
