Enhancing MACC’s Advocacy in Protecting Our Natural Resources

DawsonIn helping create The Alexandra Dawson Legal Education and Action Fund, contributors endorsed our vision for expanded MACC legal activism. We need your help to build the Dawson Fund. With a modest endowment, we can effectively address the critical threats to open space, wetlands and water quality.

Our goal is to achieve lasting legal protection for our environment by countering forces that knowingly or unknowingly weaken environmental protection. The long-term health of our ecosystems and water resources must be a priority.

Your gift to the Dawson Fund will:

  • Allow MACC to initiate legal action consistent with Alexandra’s ideals of environmental protection.
  • Supplement the pro bono services that attorneys provide to Conservation Commissions.
  • Enable us to join forces with other groups to provide direct advocacy on legislative and regulatory issues.
