Support Conservation Beyond
Your Lifetime
Make an investment in the quality of life in your community while receiving tax benefits
A bequest is one of the simplest ways to support the Massachusetts Association of Conservation Commissions. By leaving a thoughtful gift you will help our efforts to preserve wetlands and other critical natural resources for future generations and help sustain and expand our outstanding education and advocacy programs - the hallmark of MACC for more than fifty years. We would be honored to receive your generous bequest and to be entrusted with your legacy.
For those who wish to make MACC the recipient of a personal bequest, the following is simple language that can be used in your will or trust:
I hereby give, devise and bequeath to the Massachusetts Association of Conservation Commissions, a nonprofit corporation organized and existing under the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the sum of ___ dollars (or percentage of estate), to be added to the endowed funds of the Massachusetts Association of Conservation Commissions, and to be used for the general purposes of the organization.
Gifts may also be in the form of property, investments, insurance policies or unused retirement funds. MACC is happy to discuss planned giving options with you, such as directing your funds towards a specific project or a named endowment fund. We can also provide information about professional resources to assist in your estate planning.
