About this Event: EDDMapS, or the Early Detection and Distribution Mapping System, is the only invasive species mapping system approved by the state of Massachusetts and is also used throughout New England. It allows for the real time tracking of invasive species to be displayed on local and national distribution maps. This data collection is then used to inform Massachusetts invasive plant control efforts. SVT’s training will include both an indoor tutorial on the EDDMapS website and an outdoor training utilizing the Outsmart Invasive Species app, which allows for EDDMapS reporting in the field.

Event Details: Saturday, December 2, 2017, 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at Wolbach Farm in Sudbury, MA.
