BLOOMING BUTTERCUPS

 

Through a power point presentation and herbarium specimens, this class investigates many of the buttercup species, native and non-native, that bloom in spring and early summer. We focus on the characteristics that distinguish each species of this large and sometimes confusing group, and discuss their typical habitats.
