Mass Open Space Conference 2019

Join us for the 4th statewide Mass Open Space Conference on Saturday, April 27th from 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM at Mount Wachusett Community College in Gardner. This conference is FREE to attend and includes a complimentary lunch and raffle with some exciting stewardship prizes. Municipal leaders and volunteers will share their first-hand experiences through 12 workshops. With sessions covering topics such as writing and renewing your Open Space and Recreation Plan, exercising a Right of First Refusal, solar siting recommendations, an overview of new powers for Agricultural Commissions, and insights into collaborative regional planning for the Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness Program, there promises to be something for anyone serving on a municipal committee who is interested in the protection and stewardship of open space.  The Mass Open Space Conference is a great opportunity for peer-to-peer learning, networking, and inspiration.
