Partnerships for Rare Plant Management

For Natural Heritage programs and their partners, tracking rare plant populations is challenging due to lack of resources, personnel, and feasibility. Ecological Programs Coordinator Bud Sechler explains Native Plant Trust’s process of prioritizing management projects with Natural Heritage programs in each New England state and provides examples of ongoing collaborations. We will discuss ways to improve the management of rare plant populations.
