Open space committees and community members play a critical role in conserving land and helping their neighbors make informed decisions.Due to the health risks caused by Covid-19, the decision was made to cancel the 2020 Massachusetts Open Space Conference. Although in person meetings can not happen, the learning can still go on! Join us for a series of 6 webinars, open to anyone, based on the most popular sessions planned for the 2020 conference.

·     Wednesday, April 8th 12:00 PM to 1:15 PM: Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness Program

 

·     Tuesday, April 14th 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM: Creating Open Space Committees and Keeping Them Alive Discussion session will be held after the webinar (limit 25 registrants)

 

·     Wednesday, April 15th 12:00 PM to 1:15 PM: Land Protection Basics: How a Community Can Protect Land

·     Wednesday, April 22nd (EARTH DAY!) 12:00 PM to 1:15 PM: Stewarding Town Land

·     Wednesday, April 29th12:00 PM to 1:15 PM: Navigating the Community Preservation Act

·     Wednesday, May 6th 12:00 PM to 1:15 PM: Reaching Out to Landowners in Your Community

 

Registration is FREE for ALL webinars. Each webinar is listed below with its own unique Zoom registration link. Please note that if you want to attend more than one webinar, you must individually register for each. Please contact Valerie Cedrone at cedrone@mountgrace.org with any questions.
