Love wetlands protection? Have a passion for renewable energy ideas? Interested in supporting agriculture?


Please join us for an in-depth discussion about the recently promulgated Solar Massachusetts Renewable Target (SMART) Program Regulations (225 CMR 20.00)

and how they relate to wetlands protection.  The Massachusetts Association of Conservation Commissions (MACC) and Association of Massachusetts Wetland Scientist (AMWS) jointly present this timely workshop led by industry leaders and regulatory specialists in agriculture, wetlands protection and solar energy. 


The workshop will cover: 

  • Reasons why the Commonwealth is supporting dual-use agriculture-solar projects
  • Viability criteria for Chapter 61A land
  • How dual-use solar differs from conventional solar arrays
  • Permitting and design related to dual-use specific components and 310 CMR 10.00
  • October 2018 MassDEP Guidance

Location: Middleborough area details to come.
